The fishing aspect of the trip can be done largely in part by yourself, as long as you are familiar with boat operation. If not, it can be fully guided in which case all you have to worry about is catching fish, enjoying your shore lunch and the beautiful surroundings.

Some of the lakes that Grey Owl has access to are catch and release lakes in order to maintain a high quality of trophy fish. You will be taken to these lakes where we have boats and will be shown the layout of the lake & good fishing spots. However should you require a guide for the day they are available at a rate of $125.00.

The area is full of many fine fishing lakes that have little to no angling pressure. You can fish right out of the front door of the lodge on Eldon Lake or take a few minutes and travel to one of the many lakes that we have access to. We have opened up trails to several remote lakes that have not been fished in years or have been fished at all.

Start your day off with a hearty breakfast and then off to the water for some trophy fishing. Later in the day enjoy your shore lunch amidst the beauty of your pristine lake and the Canadian wilderness.

After a day of fishing return to the lodge for a hearty home cooked meal complete with home made bread and desserts. Enjoy a hot shower, relax on the deck and take in the beauty of Eldon Lake, or watch some satellite TV before turning in for a good nights rest. The next day you will get to do it all over again.
