Under Manitoba's master angler program a northern pike must be 41 inches in length to qualify as a trophy fish. Did you know that it takes 35 to 40 years for this fish to reach this length in the cool northern waters. This is why at Grey Owl we release all trophy fish to ensure everyone has the opportunity at catching one of these fish. For info on the program refer to the website below.
